Old-Fashioned Ice Blocks


  • 300ml water
  • 70g caster sugar
  • 1 packet Fresh As Mango powder
  • 12 small wooden ice block sticks
  • 1 x 12 cavity ice trays


  1. Put the water, sugar and mango powder into a small saucepan over moderate heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Remove from the heat, pour into an ice tray, place a stick in each cavity of the ice tray, cool, then freeze hard.

Variation: 1 packet Fresh As Raspberry powder
